Modular stacked Polyduct — flanged end-treatments, factory butt-welded

Client · Underground Metalliferous Mine

Problem: a free air-rise required stacked modular ducting with demanding alignment. Fan leakage was burning power on the primary drive.

Solution: modular stacked Polyduct cylinders, flanged end-treatments, factory butt-welded to DVS 2207-4. Inherently round MDPE moulded sections — not fabricated flat — and double-ringed end joints sized for the existing fan flange.

  • Seamless inherently-round cylinders — fewer leak paths than fabricated-flat alternatives
  • Double-ring ends and flanged transitions to suit existing fan case ID
  • UV-stable for outdoor staging at the portal before install
  • 6-week lead time, dispatched from Jandakot
