Reported by clients running the Donut Pump Float on Flygt submersibles: pump servicing dropped from once every three months to once every twelve. The float keeps the pump intake above mud and floating debris that drives wear in the conventional install.
- Pump lowers in from the top — no underside bolting
- Float maintains pump height plus only 20 mm vs ≈ 600 mm on underside-bolt designs
- Insert rings supplied — one float fits 5 / 8 / 18 kW pumps; 20 / 37 kW need none
